Just hold her hand. Tell her she looks pretty. Look her in the eyes when you talk to her. Protect her. Tell her stupid jokes. Tickle her, even when she says stop. When she starts swearing at you, tell her you love her. Let her fall asleep in your arms. Get her mad, then kiss her. Tease her and let her tease you back. Kiss her on the cheek. Kiss her on the forehead. Just kiss her. Let her wear your clothes. Go slow. Don't push anything. When you fall in love with her, tell her.

Faith

Mesmo no meio de muita gente, você está só. Está só porque ninguém mais pode ouvir os seus pensamentos e entender os seus sentimentos. Às vezes me pergunto se realmente não notam quando estamos nos afogando, ou simplesmente não se importam. Alguns dizem que acreditar em Deus e ter fé é bobagem, que Ele não existe ou não vai resolver nada. Eu não entendo como algumas pessoas conseguem viver sem acreditar. Como você suporta? Como você passa por cada dia? Já é bastante difícil com a fé que tenho, sem ela, seria totalmente inaceitável. As pessoas não são naturalmente amorosas. Ter fé é o que nos sustenta, acreditar naquilo que não podemos ver nem tocar. Deus não é para se entender ou explicar, é pra sentir. Mas como sentir em um mundo que carece de sentimentos? O ser humano não é muito bom na arte de sentir, é fato. Queria que houvesse mais compaixão, que as pessoas realmente se importassem, que não fosse absurdamente solitário.

Everything is temporary

We always seem to forget that everything is so temporary. I mean, yeah okay, it crosses our minds once in a while and we might do something daring and out of our comfort zone but when that moment passes, it gets stored away in the back of our minds and we continue living our lives as if there are plenty of tomorrows waiting for us. We postpone feelings and words to another day, another week, another month, another year. Everything is temporary. Forever is an empty promise.
